H.E. Mr. Gohar Nabil, Minister of Youth and Sports, attended the press conference announcing the signing of a sponsorship agreement between Misr Insurance and Egypt’s Olympic champions Seif Eissa, taekwondo bronze medalist at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, and Feryal Ashraf, karate gold medalist at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics. The agreement comes in cooperation with Rawabet Sports and under the umbrella of the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
The conference was attended by Dr. Nevine Gamea, Chairperson of Misr Insurance and former Minister of Trade and Industry; Mr. Mohamed Mahran, Managing Director and CEO of Misr Insurance; and Dr. Walid El Mallah, Chairman of Rawabet Sports, alongside a number of leaders from the sports and investment sectors, as well as heads of sports federations.
During his speech, the Minister of Youth and Sports emphasized that this partnership represents a successful model of cooperation between state institutions and the economic and investment sectors, reflecting the Egyptian state’s commitment to supporting sports champions and providing a professional environment that enables them to continue achieving success at international, continental, and Olympic competitions.
H.E. the Minister further noted that the Egyptian state, under the leadership of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, places youth and sports among its top priorities. He also stressed the Ministry’s commitment to strengthening partnerships with major national economic entities in a way that opens new horizons for sports investment and sponsorship.
For its part, Misr Insurance expressed its pride in contributing to the support of Egypt’s sports champions, stemming from its national role and social responsibility, as well as its belief in the importance of investing in Egyptian athletic talent as one of the pillars supporting Egypt’s global image.
The conference concluded with reaffirmation of continued support for Egyptian athletes during the coming period, along with best wishes for further achievements and successes that will continue to elevate Egypt’s name across international sporting arenas.
